COPS START OFF NEW YEAR WITH A BANG!

Is it safe to go outside yet?

Cops started the new-year off with a bang.

Back in New Orleans, the most pathetic police force in the nation, The NOPD started off the fireworks by shooting Adolph Grimes III about fifty times. Apparently he was only hit 14 times between the seven cops who reportedly fired on him, which means that besides murdering this poor guy, the dumb pigs sprayed thirty something bullets throughout the densely populated residential neighborhood on Gov. Nicholls. I can just picture the cowardly bastards, eyes closed, shooting from cover hoping that if they all shoot enough bullets in the general direction, one of thems bound to hit the perp.

The whole thing started over a case of mistaken identity (supposedly). According to the NOPD, They received a call early new-years morning of a shooting in the 800 block of N. Claiborne. When officers arrived, they saw a black vehicle “fleeing the scene”. Moments later officers found themselves a blackman in a black car over in the 1700 block of Gov. Nicholls, which is at least ten blocks away, which pretty much means that any blackman in a black car anywhere in the area could have killed that night. Unfortunately for Grimes, he was the first one they found.

The NOPD’s own version of the story is pretty incriminating. Apparently, when they spotted Grimes, several plain clothes officers who had just exited an unmarked vehicle tried to sneak up along both sides of his car. Grimes spotted them in a rearview mirror, jumped out his car and began to fire them. Cops return massive fire, dead blackman in the street. Now normally that would be the end of the story.

But Grimes as it turns out was a rather decent guy with a clean record who just so happened to be parked right outside of his grandmothers house waiting on his cousin. Grimes originally from New Orleans was at the time living in Texas and had his legally acquired and registered gun specifically for protection when he went back to New Orleans to visit his family. His own tragic death being a perfect example of the incredible incompetence of the NOPD (who by the way never did find the person they were originally looking for) and the reason why anyone living in or visiting needs to arm themselves.

The only good news is that the police involved started giving statements before getting their stories straight which has resulted in multiple conflicting versions of the event. The FBI is investigating and hopefully someone will actually pay for this tragedy

Not to be out done, the pigs over in Oakland found themselves a colored to kill too. Again, early new-years morning police were responding to some alleged disturbance, a fight on a subway train or some such ruckus. The only thing that is known for certain in this case is that transit cop Johannes Mehserle shot Oscar Grant III (yes, another 3rd, spooky coincidence huh) in the back while he was handcuffed and face down on the ground. Literally executed while handcuffed face down on the round in front of numerous witnesses. Normally this wouldn’t be any sort of issue or even considered news worthy cops shoot people in cold blood everyday in front of witnesses but when it comes to a witnesses word against a cop’s, well the pig always walks. What was different this time, was that some of the witnesses had video recorders on there phones and there are several clear recordings of the incident. You can actually see this for yourself here . There are other videos from other angles and I encourage you to check them all out for yourself.

Grant was shot pointblank in the back, the bullet went through him, ricocheted off the floor and reentered him. Fucking brutal. He died hours later at a near by hospital.

How’s this for another creepy coincidence between the Grant and Grimes murders. Both men were fathers, both men leave behind young daughters.

I’m awfully proud of the people of Oakland for taking it to the streets on this one.

Up in Seattle right about the same time, police shot up 22-year-old Miles Murphy. Murphy was University of Washington honor student who spoke several languages and was an accomplished musician who played numerous instruments.

Again, police were responding to a call of shots being fired on new-years morning. Arriving at the scene police were warned by numerous people that Murphy was “around back shooting blanks”. By the police’s own statement when they encountered Murphy and ordered him to lower his rifle (a beautiful vintage Kar 98) he initially did lower his weapon. But then for some inexplicable reason, he reraised his rifle and taunted the police with it, forcing the police to open fire with their AR15 which they just happened to have brought along. This is truly one of the most bizarre stories out there right now with cops giving conflicting accounts and numerous witnesses coming forward to contest the polices version of the event.

hopefully in at least the Oakland incident the officer involved will be held accountable. But in the other cases where there is no video documentation, well you know how that goes...
